Adornments Aplenty

Here are some pics of some of my jewelry. I'm in the process of figuring out what to do with the pieces. I'm in hesitation mode.... I could sell it on etsy... I could try and sell in boutiques.... I could start a website.... don't really know what to do! I feel attached to them because I consider them to be little pieces of art. They are amalgamations of my appreciation for materials and shape and color and vibrance. They have sort of a space age theme, as I am curently obsessed with all things space (P.S. did you guys hear about the moon bombing this morning???? We were going to try and watch it but it happened at 7:30 am ET so sadly it was too light for us at that point)
Anyway here is a sampling....

And allow me to introduce my lovely assistant Bonita, haha. Keith is always flirting with her.

As Promised.....

Real pictures from our trip so far!
Hope you enjoy them!

Us really on the road! One of the best feelings on earth.

An unbelievabely vibrant tree. The pic really doesn't do it justice!

Glorious view from the lead mines in Gorham, NH- Keith's home town.

I was scared to go up any higher because I was scared to come back down!

The beaver pond we hiked around.

I told Keith he should be a nature photographer as evidenced by this beautiful pic he took!!

On the Road (sort of)

So my husband and I are on a grand adventure! We just began about a week ago, though preparations for the big event began a couple of months ago. We sold and gave away almost all of our stuff except for the sentimentals and irreplaceables, which we stored with good friends. We quit our jobs, packed up our dog and a year's worth of clothes and supplies, left our friends and apartment in Philadelphia and are at the start of a long winding road of impending excitements and curiousities! We are putting our faith in the universe, letting go of our ills, and following our whims! We are nurturing our souls and hearts in the vast open of the world and its treasures!

At the moment, and probably for the next couple of months, we are in New Hampshire. My husband is from NH so we have lots of friends and family to visit with. We have been staying with various folks and experiencing the gorgeous mountain scenery that is peak foliage! The most vibrant red oranges and yellows are sprinkled all over! We went on a hike where we saw evidence of beavers (huge trees felled by tiny beaver teeth!!!) and we stood on a beaver hut on the water! It had a little window! I imagined a beaver wife washing dishes in an apron. I wish we could have gone inside and joined a beaver family for a cup of tea!

So far it has been pretty rainy but its still wonderful!!!! I don't have a way to hook up our camera right now but here are some online images for an idea of what we're dealing with- but I will post some of our own pics soon!

Keith's favorite time is Fall in NH- "the mountains look like Fruity Pebbles!" he says. Love him.

Shogun Assassin!!!!!!

Excellent film, story, legend. Beautifully framed. The 1980 filmstock and colors are gorgeous. The score is perfect. The Lone Wolf and Cub are on the run from the Shogun, the lone Wolf is the greatest warrior ever, and the Cub is quite possibly the most adorable child actor I've ever seen. Must see!!
